The practice Goss & Partners LLP has been formed to produce, design, consult and deliver architecture that enhances the vision of the client and exceeds their expectations.

Having studied his architectural education at the University of Portsmouth and completing his Bachelors (Hons) then moving forward onto RIBA part two (master of architecture), Alfie Goss went on to open the practice, whilst still studying at University at the time. During his education, he maintained an exemplary portfolio which was further supported by his final degree work.

Before Alfie chose to finalise his career choices and embark on his future, he also fuelled an adrenaline filled child-hood. During his youth Alfie represented his country in Alpine Ski Racing, competing around the world with the worlds finest alpine skiers. At the young age of 12, Alfie became the under 14 British Ski Champion, as well as a variety of notable accomplishments. To this day, he aims to spend most of his winters residing in the winter village of Morillon in the French Alps.

Whilst training, and furthering his career, he originally began life working with a development company, Horton Barns Ltd. During his time with the firm, Alfie led the design as principal design coordinator. He honed his skills in detailing and coordinating the delivery of traditional and contemporary homes and extensions. Alfie also spent vital experience with Studio Four Architects Ltd during his education to develop key skills which he was then able to implement into his design ethos.

During the first trading year of Goss & Partners LLP, Alfie was emersed by a number of projects, gaining valuable knowledge and furthering his skill base which each commission. Over the next couple of years, more work was drawn into the practice, thus grew the capacity of the practice and the roles that all were given. Projects became ever more diverse than the last, and implemented more cutting edge solutions and technology.

Alfie has also been aspired to create a practice of his own to design contemporary architecture. Having gained this experience through working with like minded professionals and through the start up of Goss & Partners LLP, to which developed the practice to produce architecture that can respond to individual requirements and sites, whilst focusing on contemporary forms but backed up by sustainable technology for innovative solutions. Now, after being developed from various backgrounds the practice uses local materials and clean lines to craft buildings from their origins into magnificent pieces of architecture.

Our work is strategised by developed a three dimensional concept which allows the user to interact with the design in the early stages. Our strength lies with our ability to apply a systematic design process. We create a distinct dialogue with the client and create a visual presentation that comes to life to demonstrate the key principles of their design. At Goss & Partners we aim to create a narrative between the site and surrounding context and capture that vision with architecture.
